These works mark an early phase in my material and structural investigations. Using cardboard, tape, aluminum cans, steel components, plastic cones, and torched or sanded surfaces, I built forms through modular accumulation and repetitive processes. Each unit — whether a cone, a loop, or a folded sheet — operated like a cell in a larger organism. The sculptures were not conceived as singular objects but as systems that grow, cluster, or proliferate according to simple rules. This period established the foundation for my later machine-based and data-driven work: the idea that identity, structure, and form emerge through iteration, constraint, and the interaction of many small parts.
